Delivery Period and Delivery<br \/>\nDelivery periods shall commence on the date of our order confirmation or upon receipt of the customer\u2019s written purchase order, whichever occurs later, but in no event before all details of execution have been fully clarified. Events of force majeure and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or sphere of influence\u2014such as operational disruptions, production scrap, or similar occurrences within our own operations or those of our subcontractors\u2014shall reasonably extend the delivery period. Terms of Payment<br>Upon placement of the order \/ issuance of the invoice, 50% of the respective purchase price shall be payable in advance as a prepayment (= down payment). The remaining balance of the purchase price shall become due upon receipt of the delivery. This remaining balance shall be payable within 14 days. Deliveries to foreign countries shall be made exclusively against advance payment.   <br \/>\nThe execution of the order shall be postponed until the down payment amount has been received. If the down payment is not made within 14 days, we are entitled to withdraw from the order or purchase.<br \/>\nIf the agreed payment term is exceeded, we are entitled to charge interest on arrears at a rate of 7% above the respective discount rate of the Deutsche Bundesbank. <br \/>\n<br \/>\n6. Warranty<br>The purchaser shall inspect the delivered goods immediately upon receipt. Any notice of defects must be submitted to us in writing within one month from the date of delivery, specifying the defects in detail.  If the goods are delivered in autumn or winter, during which time an inspection of the condition and workmanship of the sails cannot reasonably be carried out, the warranty period shall commence on the following 1 May. The goods must be returned to us immediately and free of charge for inspection of the defects.<br>If the notice of defects proves to be justified, we shall be granted the necessary time and opportunity to remedy the defect or to provide a replacement delivery. In the event that the remedy or replacement delivery fails, the purchaser shall be entitled to demand a reduction of the purchase price or to withdraw from the contract. Any further claims are excluded.<br>With regard to defects in the delivered goods, our liability shall be limited to the free replacement or repair of such parts which, when used in accordance with the applicable instructions, become unusable within 24 months as a result of material or workmanship defects.<br>Any claim for the remedy of defects shall lapse if the defect has been caused or aggravated by improper self-repair or third-party intervention.<br>For repaired goods or replacement deliveries, even where the customer has made an additional payment, the original purchase contract shall apply, including the associated warranty period.<br>A warranty of 12 months is granted for the shape and setting of the delivered items. No liability shall be assumed for damage resulting from natural wear and tear or for consequential damages. Export<br>Exports shall be carried out exclusively against advance payment.
