Mainsail
J-70 Main ML-1
The ML‑1 mainsail is a versatile all‑round sail made from 240 g/m² Dacron. Its classic cross‑cut design allows for easy and controlled trimming in all wind conditions. A slightly increased draft depth in the foot area provides additional helm pressure in light to medium winds. An integrated spreader window enables continuous control of the jib leech, making precise trimming of the headsail significantly easier.
Headsails
J-70 jib AP-2 ll purpose
The AP‑2 is built in a radial‑cut layout and made from highly dimensionally stable and durable 6.5 oz Dacron. In the heavily loaded head area, we additionally use 7.5 oz cloth to ensure maximum profile stability and optimal twist in this exposed section, even in heavy‑weather conditions. This construction significantly improves the airflow onto the mainsail. A clew cut five centimeters higher allows the jib to be barber‑hauled further to windward in light winds or waves.
J-70 asymetric A-1
The A‑1 is a highly versatile all‑round gennaker designed for maximum performance across a wide wind range. Built from silicon‑coated 0.75 oz cloth, it delivers exceptionally smooth handling and enables fast, controlled gybes. Downwind, the A‑1 allows the crew to sail impressively deep in light winds while maintaining excellent stability and power in stronger conditions. A durable Dacron‑polyester luff tape keeps the sail steady and ensures reliable control in all wind and wave situations.
