Mainsail
Allround Mainsail for Regatta Performance
This mainsail is designed as an all‑round mainsail for both racing sailors and ambitious cruisers. It fits precisely within the H‑26 class measurement rules. A slightly reduced luff curve in the lower section makes it easy to flatten the sail and reduce the return in the leech. The boat sails higher and more upright without increasing weather helm. When more power is needed, simply easing the outhaul slightly is enough to add fullness to the sail.
The sail is equipped with both a boom window and a spreader window, as well as a leech trim line. We also supply light yet highly dimensionally stable tapered battens. Upon request and for an additional charge, the sail can be manufactured with mast slides and a single reef row.
Conclusion
This mainsail is an easily trimmed, fast sail designed for all wind conditions.
Full batten mainsail (Stack-Pack)
For cruising sailors, we also offer the H‑26 mainsail in a fully‑battened version. In combination with on‑board lazy jacks, hoisting and lowering the sail becomes noticeably easier. However, it is essential to keep the bow precisely into the wind during these maneuvers.
Please note: this mainsail does not comply with the H‑26 class rules.
Fully battened sails are cut flatter and reduce heeling in stronger winds. In addition, full‑length battens minimize flogging and make flaking the sail on the boom significantly easier.
The sail is equipped with a boom window as well as a leech trim line. We also supply light yet highly dimensionally stable tapered battens. Upon request and for an additional charge, the sail can also be delivered with mast slides and a single reef row.
Conclusion
This mainsail is an easily trimmed cruising sail suitable for all wind conditions. It is suitable for all wind ranges and sailing areas.
Headsails
Allround jib with vertical battens (rollable)
The H‑26 jib has been designed as a racing jib. The firm 5.5 oz cloth provides the profile stability required for competitive sailing. Three battens sewn parallel to the luff and extending into the leech stabilize the aft section of the jib and increase durability.
The jib fits precisely within the class measurement rules and can be used both as a racing sail and for cruising. It can also be furled on the forestay.
Depending on customer preference, the jib is adjusted at the time of order for either above‑deck or below‑deck furling systems. Please make sure to specify this when placing your order.
Conclusion
The jib is an easy‑to‑trim sail suitable for all wind conditions. Thoughtful furling during maneuvers further improves sail shape and increases durability.
Spinnaker
Spinnaker AP-2 allround
Large shoulders and a very wide head angle give the spinnaker substantial area in the upper half of the sail. The flat mid‑section ensures an extremely efficient profile across all wind conditions. Smart panel shaping prevents the foot from collapsing at any wind strength. The rounded entry along the entire leech perfects the developed “Frisbee” profile, which delivers exceptional power on downwind courses. As an added benefit, the rounded leech design provides the AP‑2 Allround with excellent shape stability and forgiving handling — something less experienced trimmers quickly appreciate. Generous bonded reinforcements ensure optimal load distribution throughout the sail, allowing the AP‑2 to be handled effortlessly even on broader reaching angles.
Conclusion
Fast and easy to trim.
Furling-Booster for cruiser
Furling-Booster
The Roll Booster is the easy‑to‑handle light‑weather headsail for cruising sailors. We are frequently asked for a suitable alternative to a spinnaker or gennaker for family or single‑handed H‑26 sailing. What is desired is a cruising sail that is simple and stress‑free to operate while providing a noticeable speed increase on downwind courses up to close‑hauled.
Our Roll Booster is designed for an apparent wind angle range of 55° to 140°. The sail can be hoisted and doused effortlessly with minimal physical effort. A spinnaker pole is not required, and there is no annoying flogging during hoisting or lowering. The supplied furling unit allows the sail to be rolled in and out smoothly during maneuvers. The Roll Booster is hoisted on the spinnaker halyard.
The 22 m² radial‑cut sail, made from 0.75 oz spinnaker cloth and attached at the bow fitting, delivers significantly more drive than the jib alone. The Booster is trimmed using the spinnaker sheet. The delivery includes: a Furling‑Booster, a Bartels endless‑line furler with swivel, and a sail bag.
Conclusion
This sail turns your boat into a rocket in light‑wind conditions.
